Whitley Bay Pantomime Society is proud to be a long standing member of NODA and greatly values the support and advice received. NODA was founded to protect and advance the interests of operatic and dramatic art and societies engaged therein. Today they have membership of some 2,300 amateur societies and 3,000 individual enthusiasts throughout the United Kingdom, staging musicals, operas, plays, concerts and pantomimes in a wide variety of performing venues, ranging from the country’s leading professional theatres to tiny village halls.
NODA run Summer Schools offering training in as many aspects of the Amateur Theatre Arts as possible. They have an Annual National & Area Conference, Workshops, Seminars and quarterly Magazines. They provide a National Network of Services for all areas of Amateur Theatre in the U.K.
